Great things will be done in the near future. Many motivations to me please.

The pretext for this purchase is the creation and implementation of a personal professional practice. I will be offering design services over an assortment of products, including but not limited to event invitations and photography. Currently I am conceptualizing the business identity, and it proves to be more difficult than I expected. I need first to decide what the company’s brand will be, and this is the most difficult step of the project. I want to communicate certain ideas about my business through the identity, and narrowing it down to just a few identifiable concepts is definitely a challenge.

I wonder if I can get a jug of Creative juice at the grocery store. Surely it would be next to orange juice, perhaps between the apple cider and chocolate milk?

Infinity. Think about it.

I’m following my usual pattern of listening for the sound first, words later…but some of the lyrics are so strong that they command attention.

There is so much about this album that I love. From the very first note, to the symphonic sound, to the blaringly obvious Queen influence–this music is vocally and instrumentally strong (and I would almost say flawless, but I just haven’t listened to it enough for that pronunciation). It falls in line with some of the previous Muse work in energy and sound, but it thankfully lacks a lot of those long whiney notes (with a few exceptions)  you hear in some of their previous songs–although, admittedly, those notes are somewhat of an identifying characteristic that have grown on me. The album wraps up with a 3-part epic (enter the long vocals) that includes large chunks of purelly instrumentals, and I’m a sucker for good mood music like that. All in all, I feel like this album came out just in time to whisk me through long nights of chugging through homework durning a hard sememster.

Today was particularily hard on my mental capacities, with traffic just before class feuling frustration to the forefront. I was having a difficult time of it, trying to concentrate on what my instructor was trying to explain.

I won’t be getting much sleep tonight, and I wonder when I’ll catch up with my school work; a mere 2 weeks into it has me a full 2 classes behind in coursework. I’ll  get there.

Please learn me derivitaves. I need them in Physics before I find them out in Calculus.

A cat is fine, too. Time for to study. Do it now.

My schedule right now is rather hectic, and it makes me forget sometimes that it is still (a little bit) summer, according to the weather. I find myself surprised at the warmth outside on a daily basis.

A week ago I was incredibly stressed, overwhelmed by the masses that mull around the halls of KVCC. I wasn’t expecting so many people, and it did something weird to my mental equivalent of the inner-ear. Somehow in the span of one week, however, I have managed to turn around 180, and I now feel calm and confident. There is still that lingering annoyance about the crowds, but I think now that I can manage my classes and work. It will just require no small amount of sacrifice on my part, including a rigid compliance to a self-imposed homework schedule. If I were to have an accurate fortune cookie incident, it would read: “In the coming months, you will be making many lists.”

Just one of those things I do with my free time. This is a nymph of a Longhorn Grasshopper. My boyfriend and I found it crawling around on top of my car and decided to take it for a little photo shoot. What I discovered was simply that my macro photography skills need a lot more light as well as a bit of practice.

Congratulate me, I accepted a job offer. I start in 4 days, and I hope to discover that this one is more fulfilling than my current employment. Although, if my current employment was 35 miles closer to home, I really would have nothing about which to complain.

I’m feeling clever because I’m working on a research paper that is a load of crap, and I get to showcase one of my greatest talents: bullshitting.

More importantly:

I love that part of life when there’s a choice I have to make; I like the moment right after I make that choice, because I can start dealing with the consequences of my decision. In that moment there is no uncertainty, and I can loosen the noose from around my brain and begin to reorganize. That’s when I feel most free. And that kind of moment happened today, approximately 5pm eastern standard time. <3

I miss my cat. I want her to come home.
